The Department of Revenue and Taxation issued the attached media release regarding its decision to expand Passport application hours. The text of their release follows for easy reference. The Governor’s Office is emailing this on behalf of DRT:

Passport Office Expanding Services
Effective immediately, the Department of Revenue and Taxation, Passport Office is expanding its services for the convenience of its customers. The office will now be accepting and executing Passport Applications Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The office previously only accepted applications three days out of the week. This expansion is in line with the Governor and Lieutenant Governor’s call for improved customer service.
