Governor Calvo to Introduce His First Legislative Acts Monday
Pro-life, Catholic Daughters, Cervical Cancer Awareness Proclamations to Be Signed

Governor Eddie Baza Calvo will be introducing his first legislative acts as Governor today. Details will be made available during tomorrow’s proclamation ceremonies.
He and Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio will declare 2011, “The Year of the Unborn Child,” in a proclamation he will sign today, January 24. The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. in the Cabinet Conference Room, Bordallo Governor’s Complex.
The Governor and Lieutenant Governor also will declare “Catholic Daughters of the Americas Day” during the same ceremony at 9 a.m.
Following the two proclamations will be the declaration of “Cervical Cancer Awareness Week” at 9:30 a.m. in the Cabinet Conference Room.
