New leadership takes effect today

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 7, 2013

Governor Eddie Baza Calvo made changes to his cabinet today.

Lorilee Crisostomo will now serve as the director for the Bureau of Statistics and Plans. Pete Calvo will assume Crisostomo’s former position as head of the Guam Energy Office. Ray Blas, Sr., a new member of the Calvo Tenorio Cabinet, will serve as the director of the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Blas comes to the administration with a wealth of institutional knowledge. He’s previously served as the Governor Felix Camacho’s Authorized Representative for FEMA, the Executive Director for GHURA, and was the Chief of Staff to the late Speaker Tony Unpingco for 18 years.

I welcome Ray to our administration, and thank Lorilee and Pete for continuing to serve the people of Guam,” Governor Calvo said.
