The Governor’s Office was recently made aware of a forged document appearing to be a “Letter of Intent” between the government of Guam and GK Holdings, Inc. for the establishment of a solid waste management system.  The document appears to bear the seal of the Governor’s Office and the signature of Governor Eddie Baza Calvo.

Guam’s private businesses and the general public are advised to be aware that the

governor’s signature was forged on this document.

The document also appears to bear the Attorney General’s signature, but the Attorney General has confirmed that his signature was also forged.  The “Letter of Intent” appears to have been signed by Daeyung Hwang on behalf of GK Holdings.   The administration has yet to confirm the authenticity of Hwang’s signature.
