The Legislature convened the Governor’s special session.
“It’s my hope that we don’t see the same process we had two years ago when we were fighting for the tax refunds. We had to weather every false accusation and political game in order to get the tax refund bond and the budget passed. I really hope we don’t have to do that again, but we are prepared to advocate for what is right and in the best interests of the people. We are prepared to defend our positions and keep the politics honest.”
